1962. Giuseppina and Giovanni Lampugnani, thanks to long years of experience in the field, found in Milan IDEAL PIUMINI , craft manufacture of various kinds of dusters. The firm gradually developed as an answer to heavy demands coming from Italian department stores and wholesalers of household articles.

1970. The owners decide to move the factory to Lambrinia of Chignolo Po, near Pavia , the place of their birth, in order to develop the activity and the factory itself. This is the very first year in which IDEAL PIUMINI is present in MACEF, important fair hold in Milan twice a year, which allows the factory to enter into the international market and make sound relationships abroad.

1973. In answer to the demands of work process's mechanisation new machines are projected and realised, in order to increase production capacity and reduce delivery wait time.

1974. Thanks to the constant increase in demands, especially those coming from abroad, IDEAL PIUMINI decides to absorb the field of plastic materials' production, that was used to be kept in outsourcing, buying machinery for plastic moulding. In this way IDEAL PIUMINI manufactures the whole article, from rough materials to the final product.

1983. IDEAL PIUMINI , through Giovanni LAMPUGNANI, receives the prize CITTA' DI PAVIA - REFERENDUM 1976 proving to be the best in the category feathers and dusters.

It's June 1991. The new two floors storey plant is opened, and it will accommodate the management, the offices, the samples display, and it will allow the division of the various production sections:

•  dusters

•  plastic materials

•  brooms and brushes

•  assembly

The owner's Giovanni LAMPUGNANI 30 years of activity are celebrated. In the course of time he has been supported by his daughter Fernanda, his son in law Aristide NODARI and his grandson Stefano.

1993. Is added the collection "SAGA", which is one of the most famous brands in this field, leader of the market in Reggio Emilia, and which widens the range of produced articles, especially brooms and brushes.

It's 1996. For the first time IDEAL PIUMINI displays in a fair specialised in car accessories in Frankfurt (Germany), renewing its image with the collection "IDEAL CAR" and "IDEAL VAN" in addition to the collection "IDEAL HOUSE".

2004 - IDEAL PIUMINI buys from TOTALPLAST the productive line of chemical ice and dustbin whit swing lid, in order to have different items and reach different markets.

TODAY: Also for IDEAL PIUMINI many things have changed, but the initial philosophy still accompanies its choices: producing innovative and high quality articles for house and car cleaning, with the care and attention due to long years of experience.
